Deputy Tate began his Law Enforcement career after graduating from Illinois Central College in 1984. Deputy Tate attended the University of Texas System Police Academy graduating Dec. 1984. Deputy Tate worked at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston component until November 1987. Deputy Tate was hired by the City of Webster, Texas, Deputy Tate attained the rank of patrol Sgt. Deputy Tate worked in many aspects of Law Enforcement at the City of Webster, Patrol, CID, Accident Investigation & Reconstruction. Deputy Tate attended numerous training classes during his tenure, the classes encompassed Accident investigation and management. Deputy Tate graduated from the Bill Blackwood Law enforcement Institute in 2004. Deputy Tate retired after 21 years of service to the City of Webster. Deputy Tate then began employment at the Galveston County Pct. 8 Constables Office February 2009.
